How to manage your Maestro cards
Everything you need to know about Maestro cards
Any change to your Maestro card settings (temporary block, change in limits, change in geo-blocking, etc.) can take 1 to 3 minutes to update.
You cannot request any other changes until the update is complete.
If your card is blocked, and the unblock button is disabled, that means that the card has been blocked by the Bank. Contact a CA next bank advisor to find out more.
That’s right. You cannot block your Maestro card from working in those locations. But you have control over the regions displayed on the screen.
The only way to disable these regions is to temporarily block your card on the screen that appears before the geo-blocking page.
Contactless payment is not available on older generations of the Maestro card. That means you can’t enable or disable this function, and the button is disabled.
If you’re interested in the contactless payment feature, don’t hesitate to contact your advisor using the secure messaging service from your e-banking account.
You can’t block contactless payments or payment without PIN. If you block your card, you prevent PIN-based payment and withdrawals.
If your card is lost or stolen, immediately contact a CA next bank advisor.
To completely enable or disable payment settings on your card, you have to make a payment or (withdrawal) with your PIN to update the chip on your card.
The list of Maestro transactions directly displays amounts as recorded by the payment service provider. They’re not accounting records.
That’s right, withdrawals made from a CA next bank ATM are immediately debited from your current account, but they are not included under the withdrawal limits that apply to your card.
Withdrawals made from ATMs at other banks are deducted from the withdrawal limits applicable to your Maestro card.
