Successfully migrate to the HID Approve application

Say "Goodbye" to the obsolete Challenge Card. With the HID Approve application, you get a secure and flexible way to check every connection to your secure e-banking space from your smartphone.

Please follow these steps carefully for a smooth migration

Follow the usual steps to access your e-banking service from a computer by clicking on the e-banking button in the top menu.

Carefully read the information that comes up on the screen to start the migration process, then click on Begin.

Download the HID Approve app from the App Store or Google Play.

Agree to the app’s terms and conditions. Then accept the requests to access notifications and the camera. This step is essential to pair HID Approve with your e-banking service.

Follow the instructions displayed on your e-banking screen by scanning the QR code with your smartphone and the HID Approve app.

For secure access to your HID Approve app, you will be asked to define a six-digit PIN. You must enter this PIN every time you use HID Approve.

Once you have completed this step, set your smartphone down and go back to your e-banking page.

In parallel, you have been assigned a new user ID. You must use this user ID every time you log in to your e-banking service.
You are recommended to keep it safe, for example by printing it.

Your e-banking password will remain unchanged.

Now it’s time to test your new login procedure

Start the test by clicking on the button displayed on your computer screen.
Enter your new user ID and your usual e-banking password.

Your e-banking service will send a verification request to your HID Approve app.

Take your smartphone and press the notification you have received or manually open the HID Approve app. Next, enter your six-digit PIN and confirm by swiping the Confirm button.

No Internet connection on your smartphone?

Launch the HID Approve app. Enter your six-digit PIN and simply touch the screen to generate a temporary secure code.

This code is valid for 60 seconds.

On your computer screen, you should be on the e-banking page containing a special box below the “Confirm” button. Enter the temporary secure code in this box.


You have completed the login procedure and you can access your personal e-banking account.

From now on, don’t forget to use your new user ID. You can destroy your challenge card.

Need to connect HID Approve to another device?

Do you have a joint account and want to install HID Approve on another device? Nothing to it. Just follow the instructions below.

From your e-banking home page, click on Preferences then Manage your e-banking access in the top menu.

You will be directed to the page where you can manage the devices that you have already added.

Next, click on the Add a new login device button in the bottom right-hand side of the screen and follow the same login procedure described above.

The new device will appear in the list of devices you can use to log in to your e-banking service.

Click on the button to the left of each line to manage the settings for this device.
