What type of payment should you use?
Here are a few examples to help you choose the right type of payment
SEPA stands for Single Euro Payement Area. SEPA payments should be used to optimise money transfers between Switzerland and the Eurozone. At CA next bank, SEPA payments are free of charge and unlimited. The exchange rate is the rate applied by CA next bank, one of the best on the market. These transfers are fast, as the funds arrive in the Eurozone account within 24 hours.Find out how to enter SEPA payment information
The SWIFT standard lets you send money anywhere in the world securely and within a reasonable time frame. The SWIFT network diverges from SEPA because it covers many currencies and the exchange procedures that go with them. To find out how much it will cost you to send a SWIFT payment, go to the fee guide.
If your godson lives in Switzerland, you should use transfers within Switzerland for a transaction in CHF with no currency exchange restrictions. If he lives outside Switzerland, you should opt for a SEPA or SWIFT payment, depending on the country. Transfers within Switzerland are free of charge and unlimited.
