Notify your adviser before you leave
If you are travelling outside Switzerland, inform your adviser of your departure via the Secure Mailbox in your online banking portal.
Your adviser can then assist you if a complex situation arises while you are abroad.
For example, a payment made in Japan while you are in France could trigger a security alert.
Make a note of the card-blocking numbers
In the event of loss or theft, you can block your cards via the CA next bank online banking app or by phone.
Make a note of these numbers and keep them separate from your cards:
- Debit card: +41 (0)58 399 66 56
- Credit card: +41 (0)58 958 83 83
These numbers are available 24/7.
Take a second bank card with you
A second bank card protects you if your primary card is lost, stolen or blocked. Keep it separate from your first card - for example, in your luggage.
Update your app before you leave
An up-to-date app is a more secure one. Make sure your phone and your CA next bank online banking app are up to date before your holiday.
When travelling, connect via your mobile network. Public networks, such as those in airports or cafés, are less secure.
Enable payment notifications
Notifications make you aware of every payment made on your account. You can immediately spot any payment you did not authorise.
In the app, you can select the alerts that suit your needs, such as large debits, salary deposits or balance thresholds.
Crédit Agricole next bank will never ask for your access codes by phone or message.
Setting this up takes just a few minutes and protects your account throughout your holiday.
