Learn how to make your first payments

It's here! Your new e-banking system now includes an intelligent payment system. You no longer need to select the type of payment: a preselection will automatically and optimally be made according to your payment details.

There are many ways to automate your payments, such as setting up standing orders or activating the eBill service to pay your bills. Below, we show you how to make a single payment.

  • With camera
  • Without camera

Before getting started

Be sure to have:

  • Your QR-bill
  • A computer equipped with a webcam, or a tablet equipped with a camera

1. From the home screen, click on the quick access link, “New payment”.
OR
From the menu, click on “Payments”, then on “New”, then on “Payment”.

2. Click on “Scan now”.

3. Position the QR code on your invoice in front of your computer’s webcam.

4. The fields are automatically populated. Click on “Next”.

5. Select the account to debit.

6. Click on “Next” two times

7. Check the payment details.

8. If everything is correct, click on “Pay”.

9. To finalise your payment, open the SecureAccess CA next bank app on your mobile phone, and scan the coloured mosaic displayed on the screen.

10. In the SecureAccess app, tap “Confirm” (on the top right).

Before getting started

Be sure to have:

  • Your QR-bill / the IBAN or account number of the person you wish to pay
  • A computer without a webcam

1. From the home screen, click on the quick access link, “New payment”.
OR
From the menu, click on “Payments”, then on “New”, then on “Payment”.

2. Enter the IBAN number shown on your QR-bill.

3. Click on “New payment to...”.

4. Enter the beneficiary’s details.

5. Then click on “Next”.

6. Select the account to debit.

7. Enter the invoice amount and reason for payment.

8. Click on “Next” two times.

9. Check the payment details.

10. If everything is correct, click on “Pay”.

11. To finalise your payment, open the SecureAccess CA next bank app, then scan the coloured mosaic displayed on the screen.

12. In the SecureAccess app, tap “Confirm” (on the top right).

  • With invoice
  • With IBAN

Before getting started

Have your QR-bill.

1. From the home screen, tap on “Scan”.
OR
From the menu, tap on “Payments”, then on “Scan”.

2. Authorise the use of your camera by the e-banking app.

3. Tap on “OK” to start the scan.

4. Point your mobile’s camera at the QR code on your invoice.

5. Select the account to debit in the “Debit Account” field (the other fields will have been populated automatically).

6. Enter the reason for payment in the “Additional information” field.

7. At the very bottom, tap on “Verify payment”.

8. Check the payment details.

9. If everything is correct, tap on “Confirm payment”.

To secure your payment, your SecureAccess CA next bank app opens.

10. In the SecureAccess app, tap on “Confirm” (on the top right).

11. Back in the e-banking app, finalise your payment by tapping on “OK”.

Before getting started

Have the IBAN or account number of the person you wish to pay.

1. From the home screen, tap on “New Payment”.
OR
From the menu, click on “Payments”, then on “New”, then on “Payment”.

2. Enter your beneficiary’s IBAN number.

3. Tap on the payment type suggested automatically (“National payment” in the example shown here).

4. Select the account to debit from the “Debit account” field.

5. Tap on « Beneficiary » and enter the name and country of the beneficiary.

6. Enter the amount you would like to transfer.

7. Enter the reason for payment.

8. Scroll down and tap on « Verify payment ».

9. Check the payment details.

10. If everything is correct, tap on “Confirm payment”.

To secure your payment, your SecureAccess CA next bank app opens.

11. Tap on “Confirm” in the SecureAccess app (at the top right).

12. Back in the e-banking app, finalise your payment by tapping on “OK”.

Although the payment wizard in your e-banking platform automatically selects the most appropriate payment method for you, you may change the pre-selection when you make your payment or transfer.

QR-bill
This digital payment method replaces the various payment slips (ISR/IS) as of 1 October 2022
Internal transfers
To transfer funds between your accounts
SEPA payment
For transfers to the Eurozone
International payment (SWIFT)
For international transfers (outside the Eurozone)
National payment
To transfer money to a third-party bank in Switzerland

Your most frequently asked questions

In line with market practice, the daily limit for all Maestro cards is now set at CHF 2,000 by default.

To modify it, proceed as follows:

  1. In the main menu, click on "Debit cards".
  2. Under "Card settings", click on the pencil next to the daily or monthly limit.
  3. Enter the new limit (daily and/or monthly).
  4. Click on "Update".

That's it, your request has been submitted and will be processed shortly.

If you cannot find this menu, please make your request via the secure mailbox or visit the branch of your choice.

In case of emergency, please contact your advisor so that he/she can increase your limit instantly.
